Enjoy grandeur!
The Ritz Carlton in Abu Dhabi is in a unique location. On one side almost in the garden of the famous Grand Mosque Sheikh Zayed and on the other side directly on the Abu Dhabi Grand Canal. The hotel is a new and ultra luxurious addition to the city.
The hotel exudes grandeur! The facades and buildings are painted in soft tones of cream and terracotta and are sheltered by Mediterranean red roofs. The architecture is inspired by the Renaissance style from the 15th to 17th centuries. The highlight of the resort is the large outdoor swimming pool. The Spa runs under the flag of the luxury ESPA and offers no less than 16 treatment rooms, a private pool, a hammam and a private beach. A wonderful place to unwind your feet after a day of sightseeing in Abu Dhabi.
There is a wide choice of restaurants and bars. In any case, the morning starts with a fantastic buffet breakfast at Giornotte. Rarely have I seen such a large selection and all equally fresh and delicious. For lunch, the hip Pool & Beach Restaurant Al Fresco offers a fine menu. For dinner the choice is also great; will it be an Argentinean steak at The Forge, a Lebanese dish at Mijana or will we go for dim sum and dumplings at Li Kiang and enjoy more Oriental deliciousness with a view of the Grand Mosque?
The beautifully elegant and classic The Ritz Carlton Grand Canal in Abu Dhabi is a must. Not only for a longer stay in Abu Dhabi but it is also a perfect accommodation for a stopover on the way to one of the islands in the Indian Ocean.
