Kenoa is one of the most exclusive Beach & Spa Resorts in Brazil. This eco-chic resort is located directly on a pristine beach in the northeast of the country, about 30 kilometers south of Maceió. Pedro, the owner of this design hotel, wanted to create a place where guests could enjoy tranquility combined with the warm hospitality that Brazilians are so famous for. He would like guests to feel at ease at Kenoa, in a casual yet luxurious ambiance. And he succeeded. More than even!
The ideas regarding ecology and sustainability were ‘on top of mind’ from the beginning. In Brazil, this is not yet a matter of course in the luxury resorts everywhere. At Kenoa, Pedro saw the opportunity to realize this in a perfect way. The result is a nice balance between luxury and comfort. Using natural materials and sources. According to Pedro it’s just a matter of putting the right pieces of the puzzle together.
Kenoa seduces you to do nothing. Lazing in the sun, with a caipirinha, enjoying the sounds of the waves… Minimalism characterizes Kenoa and everything is right down to the smallest detail. The hotel is built like a triangle. The Apoena suites are located on the left side of the beach overlooking the ocean from the balconies. All come equipped with a traditional Japanese Ofuro bath on the terrace, crafted from, fragrant hand-scraped, cedar wood. The Marajó Villas are located on the right side of the beach, have a private pool in the garden and one or two bedrooms as desired. The Jaobi Villas complete the triangle shape. Here you can step straight from your bed onto the beach. You will also have an excellent night’s sleep here; between the Egyptian cotton sheets and with the murmur of the sea in the background.
The Kaamo Restaurant runs under the supervision of the Brazilian chef César Santos. This guarantees original dishes using organic ingredients. The Spa is a true temple and feels like a private retreat. A place where all your senses are pampered and the worries of every day seem far away …
