LUX* Belle Mare is an elegant and luxurious all-suite hotel and beautifully situated in the quiet village of Belle Mare, on the east coast of the island. Here you will enjoy fantastic views of pristine white beaches and the sparkling lagoon from your suite or villa. The architecture of the hotel is designed so that as soon as you enter, you have a view of the pool, the garden and the Indian Ocean. The hotel’s beautiful Mauritian décor and excellent service, in addition to the pearly white beach, are the other assets of this resort. The pool consists of several levels and is an experience in itself. Around the pool are palm trees and wonderful loungers placed from which you can also enjoy the view of the beach. And that’s worth it: this beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
The 174 suites differ in location and size, but they are all very comfortable and fully equipped. The sleek light design of the rooms creates a fresh atmosphere. The beds are large and the bathrooms spacious, with a lovely bathtub and a rain shower. The suites offer a choice of a spacious terrace or balcony overlooking the garden, pool and sea. Because of the spacious layout, the suites are also very suitable for families. For those who like more luxury and privacy but also want to enjoy the facilities and atmosphere of the resort, can also choose to stay in one of the Villas.
The stay includes a delicious breakfast but a stay on the basis of half board or all inclusive is also possible. The restaurants are of a high standard and you can choose a different cuisine every night. From Italian at ‘Beach Rouge’ to Indian at ‘Amari by Vineet’. For an extensive tea menu and the traditional Mauritian tea ceremony, head to ‘The Teahouse’ and for a cup of freshly roasted coffee, you’ll be well served at ‘Café Lux’. Beer can be tasted at the “K-Bar” and for a rum tasting “Mari Kontan” is the place to be!
For a moment of ultimate relaxation there is the LUX*Me Spa. Here a healthy menu, relaxation and well-being are paramount. Fitness, tennis, mini golf, use of windsurf boards, pedal boats, sailing, snorkeling, water skiing and a trip in a glass bottom boat are offered during your stay. For an additional fee, you can also dive, deep sea fish and go out on a speedboat. Not far from the hotel are 3 golf courses. For the little ones there is a fun “kids club” and for the older ones the “teens club”!
