Excellent dining and world-class wines!
One South African winery is often even more beautiful than the next, one wine even better than the one you tasted before and sometimes the view is even more breathtaking than you ever imagined. And sometimes, very sometimes, a winery is so beautiful that a photo does not do justice to its beauty and words fail. That sounds very poetic, but in some cases it just is. At Delaire Graff it is so! Delaire Graff is one such wine estate in South Africa.
Nestled among majestic mountain peaks and overlooking the vineyards of Stellenbosch, Delaire Graff Estate, with its stunning Cape Dutch architecture and African artwork, offers its guests the combination of stunning surroundings, excellent dining and world-class wines from its own cellar.
With two excellent restaurants, an impressive art gallery, a diamond shop, a beautiful Spa, an extraordinary hotel, a tasting room and, of course, the wine estate itself, Delaire Graff knows how to achieve one important goal very well. And that is, towering above its competing wine estates in the Stellenbosch area.
The boutique hotel has only ten suites, and each of these are little masterpieces with panoramic views of the valley and each with its own plunge pool. Delaire Graff was acquired by English jeweler Laurence Graff in 2003 and his influences are still evident in the stylish interior.
The walls of both restaurants and the tasting room feature works by well-known South African artists. The decor of both restaurants, like the food, is done to perfection. Add to that the view and you are sold. I can guarantee that.
