Active in style!

Meet the wildlife during a safari, go to the top of Table Mountain, visit the penguins, go shopping in Cape Town … Impressive places in South Africa, which are more than worth a visit and show the different sides of this beautiful country. Also taste delicious wines in the beautiful surroundings of Stellenbosch and enjoy a traditional braai. South Africa is unique, South Africa offers everything in one!

Your journey starts in Cape Town. With Table Mountain at your back and Cape Town at your feet, our chosen boutique hotel is a perfect and intimate accommodation in the heart of Cape Town. Every morning you will be treated to a sumptuous breakfast overlooking the city. With names like ‘Versailles’, ‘Flamingo’ and ‘Orchid’, you can be sure that your suite is also a masterpiece. The decoration of the lounge, garden and kitchen are also done with taste and attention to detail. Here you will continue to feast your eyes. A good starting and ending point for your tour of the Western Cape.

Afterwards you will travel on to the Winelands. Those who understand the art of enjoyment will be immediately sold at your next accommodation. The sublime design and the surrounding nature only seem to reinforce each other here. Visit the magnificent Wine Estate Delaire Graf, located on the spectacular Helshoogte Pass, and enjoy a wine-tasting here. The Cabernet Franc Rosé is unique and has a beautiful color; don’t forget to taste it!

Then on to Hermanus! Via a beautiful route with fantastic views, deep cliffs and valleys you pass Somerset West and Gordan’s Bay and arrive at the end of the day. From July through November, whales come to shed their calves near the South African coast. Hermanus is the most famous place to watch this. Admire these magnificent mammals from the terrace at The Marine or get even closer, on a boat ride. With the curious nature of whales, there is a good chance they will come swimming alongside the boat. An absolutely unique experience!

Time for safari! Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is a 54,000 hectare private game reserve at the foot of the Warmwater Mountain, in the heart of the Little Karoo, between Montagu and Barrydale. The hilly landscape is very varied, as are the animals that live here. Not only can you encounter different species of antelope, cheetah, zebra, buck and impala, but with a little luck you may also meet the white lions that live in this game reserve.

After your stay in the bush, you continue your journey to Robertson via the breathtaking Route 62. One of the most beautiful routes in the Western Cape. The road leads from the fertile vineyards to the drier parts of the Little Karoo. Along the way you can visit quaint villages like Montagu, where time seems to have stood still. Driving along the vineyards, orchards, beautiful mountain passes and rivers you will not get bored with the impressive nature and views … You end the journey in Cape Town where you can enjoy the last days of this special city.
